Gen3 Chevrolet Camaro Supercar Reveal — GM Performance
Role: Environment Artist / Unreal Engine Generalist
Timeline: 1 month from CAD to final commercial animation
For Chevrolet’s official entry into Australia’s premier touring‑car series, GM Performance needed a fast‑turnaround reveal animation for the Gen3 Camaro Supercar — one that could debut both online and live during the showcase. I worked as part of a small, focused team responsible for bringing the entire visual experience to life inside Unreal Engine.
What I contributed

  • Built the Bathurst race track and surrounding environment from the ground up, ensuring accuracy, scale, and cinematic readability.

  • Animated and rendered the Gen3 Camaro Supercar using Unreal Engine’s real‑time pipeline, optimizing for both visual fidelity and rapid iteration.

  • Collaborated directly with GM Performance designers, integrating their CAD data and creative direction into a polished, broadcast‑ready asset.

  • Delivered a full commercial‑quality reveal in just one month, transforming raw studio CAD files into a complete, high‑impact animation.

Outcome
The final reveal successfully launched across digital platforms and at the in‑person showcase, giving Chevrolet a bold, high‑energy introduction for their new Supercar entry. The project demonstrated our team’s ability to handle complex automotive assets, build large‑scale environments, and deliver cinematic results under tight deadlines.
